Hosted by Colorado Children’s Campaign in collaboration with the Center for Poverty and Social Policy, this webinar explores how public benefits help reduce childhood poverty and strengthen family financial stability. The discussion will highlight findings from recently released research showing how The Colorado Family Affordability Tax Credit lifted 22,500 children out of poverty, and how Colorado can build on this evidence to better support children and families. This event will feature Danielle Wilson, a postdoctoral research scientist at the center, who will discuss our work building the Colorado specific poverty measure.

This is one webinar in a series from the Colorado Children’s Campaign to explore some of the most pressing issues shaping children’s well-being and opportunities to thrive in Colorado. Founded in 1985, this campaign aims to ensure every child in Colorado has the resources and opportunities to thrive.

The Colorado Poverty Measure is funded by Gary Community Ventures: a philanthropic and civic-action organization based in Denver, Colorado, working to reshape opportunity and build generational wealth for children and families.
